Who you’re agreeing with
These terms are an agreement between you and LookKeep. In these terms “we” means LookKeep and “you” means anyone who uses lookkeep.com. By using LookKeep you agree to them and to our privacy policy.
Who can use LookKeep
You must be 18 or older. Every character LookKeep makes is an adult who doesn’t exist: you pick a look, and LookKeep invents the person.
Your account
You can make a character without an account. To keep them and make more, you keep them with your email, and we send you a code each time you sign in. Keep your email account safe, because anyone who can read it can sign in as you. You can delete your account any time in Settings.
The beta
LookKeep is in its beta. Paying isn’t open yet: your first make is free, and for more credits you write to hello@lookkeep.com. Things will change while we learn what works, and we’ll tell you before a change that matters.
Membership and credits
A membership renews every month until you cancel. Each plan gives you credits every month:

Prices are in US dollars. Outside the US they include tax; in the US, sales tax is added at checkout. Payments are handled by Stripe.
Making a character is free, and so is your first make. After that, each make costs credits, and its cost is on the button before you tap it:

- Credits you don’t use in a month carry over for one more month. You can hold up to twice your plan’s monthly credits.
- A make that doesn’t come out, or that our checks stop, is never charged. Try again costs the same as the first try.
- Credits have no cash value and can’t be sold or transferred.
Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel any time in Settings. Your membership and its credits last until the end of the month you paid for.
Payments aren’t refundable, except where the law gives you a right to a refund, including under the consumer law where you live. If you’re in the EU or UK, you agree that your membership starts straight away, and that you lose the 14-day right to cancel once you use its credits. If we end a feature you’ve paid for, we refund the part you haven’t used.
What you bring
You keep ownership of the photos and clips you bring. You let us store and use them only to make what you ask for, run our checks and keep your account working. We delete them after 30 days.
You must have the right to everything you bring:
- People. Only bring a photo or clip with people in it if you’re in it, or the people in it agreed.
- Clips and sound. Only bring clips, music and sound you’re allowed to use. A clip you recreate keeps the sound of the one you brought.
- Products and brands. Only show products, logos and designs that are yours or that you’re allowed to use.
What you make
As between you and us, you own what you make with LookKeep, as far as the law lets anyone own work made with AI. On every paid plan (Starter, Plus and Business) you can use it commercially, in ads, on products and in paid posts. In the beta, the credits we give you count the same.
We don’t train AI models on what you bring or make, and we won’t use what you make in our own marketing without asking you.
Files you save or share carry a small lookkeep.com credit and a label in the file saying they were made with AI. Don’t remove the label, and don’t present what you make as a real photo or recording of a real person or event.
Rules
Don’t use LookKeep to:
- make pictures or clips of a real person without their permission, or pass a character off as a real person;
- make anything sexual involving a minor, or any character who looks under 18;
- make intimate or sexual images of a real person;
- harass, threaten, deceive or defraud anyone;
- infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark or other rights;
- get around our checks, credits or limits, or overload the service.
Work made with AI can come out wrong. Look at what you make before you share it. How you use it is up to you, and so is the responsibility for it.
Reports and takedowns
Tap Report on anything you make, or write to hello@lookkeep.com. A reported make is hidden as soon as the report is sent, and we read every report.
- If it shows you and you didn’t agree, write to us and we remove it, with the character and everything made with it. Intimate images of a real person are removed within 48 hours of a valid request.
- Copyright. Send us the work, where you saw it, your contact details and a statement that you own it or act for the owner.
Our part
We check every result automatically before you see it, and stop the ones that fail. We may remove content or close accounts that break these terms. Where we can, we’ll tell you why, and you can reply to hello@lookkeep.com.
Makes can take a while when it’s busy, and features can change or end.
Liability
LookKeep is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under any consumer law that can’t be limited.
Changes and ending
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll tell you by email or in the app before the change takes effect. If you don’t agree, you can delete your account. You can stop using LookKeep at any time.
Your local consumer law applies to these terms where it says it must.
